Thomas' secret is that you brine the chicken for up to 12 hours and then keep the oil temperature at 320 for dark meat and 340 for white meat. It only takes about 10 minutes to fry! Of course, there are about 2 pages (of that huge ad hoc cookbook) on how to exactly fry and cool the chicken. You know Thomas...the comforts of home cooking has taken on a whole new meaning. As for the biscuits, they are actually quite easy and delicious. I've been on a sweet potato kick lately!
